UtahWP<\/a> is your local\u00a0WordPress meetup group. They have meetings in Draper at the MOJO Marketplace offices and Orem at the UVU Business Resources building. Every month, a speaker comes and presents on topics ranging from\u00a0WordPress development to picking a good\u00a0WordPress plugin or theme. Meetups are organized through the Meetup.com group and everyone is welcome. The Draper group generally meets on the last Wednesday of the month, and the Orem group meets on the second Thursday. RSVPing isn’t required, but it’s nice to let the organizers know so they know how much pizza to order. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n Slack is what all the cool kids are doing these days, right? UtahWP also has its very own Slack, so you can hang out virtually with your local\u00a0WordPress community. To join the Slack channel, you’ll need Slack (but that’s okay, desktop and mobile apps are available or you can just use the web app), and just fill out this form on the UtahWP site<\/a>.
